Double Stacked SA-1 Dwarf Signal
Back
I got this signal on June 28th 2026 from a fellow Texas
collector. After a day of driving, I brought the dissasembled
signal back home to my shop. The signal had already been dissasembled
and stripped of all its old paint, so it was almost ready to be
painted. This signal was from the Virginian Railway, although
I am not sure where exactly it was installed. The signal is from
1957.
The signal now lives inside my shop next to various
other dwarf signals.

Here they are on the back of my truck, paired with
a P5 signal that I got in exchange for some work I did.
Here are the lens barrels and rings painted flat black.
Here are all the main castings, doors, and bases painted
silver
Here are the 2 housings stacked on top of one another.
The insides are also flat black.
Here they are with the proper mounting hardware, and
the lens barrels attatched.
Here is the finished signal, minus hoods, which I will
have to get made, sitting next to my dwarf H2 signal.
Here is the back, showing the GRS logos.
All done!
